Fatal 4-Way Match To Determine New No. 1 Contender For The NXT Women's Title Set For Next Week

The first contender for Io Shirai's NXT Women's Championship will be decided next week on NXT (which we now know will be the first part of The Great American Bash event) in a Fatal 4-Way match.

After Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez won their tag-team match last night, the former demanded a shot at The Genius of the Sky's title, and William Regal granted her an opportunity... provided she can get past Mia Yim, Tegan Nox and Candice LeRa!

This one is difficult to call, but we assume a heel will win, which means it'll either be Kai and LaRa.

It is somewhat surprising that Rhea Ripley isn't part of this bout, but she's currently involved in an angle with Robert Stone and Aliyah. If she loses to them in a handicap match next week, she'll have to join the "Robert Stone Brand." Next week will also see Roderick Strong face off against Dexter Lumis in a Strap Match.
