WWE aired another one-off episode of WWE Backstage following Friday's SmackDown and Finn Balor appeared to explain his recent heel turn. While some fans have assumed that he's joined The Undisputed Era, that's yet to be confirmed, and it sounds like the former NXT Champion is just glad to be himself again.

"I want to go back to being the real me," he explained before saying that it was great to leave fans speechless by kicking Johnny Gargano in the head. "I felt like maybe I haven’t been true to myself for a long time."

When Booker T pointed that Balor seems to have a different look in his eye, he responded: "I say this is the real Finn Balor. You’re a big fan of my work from before WWE, right? Let’s just say the Prince is back." That's a reference to his original Prince Devitt persona before he arrived in the developmental brand.

Needless to say, this Wednesday promises to be very interesting...
