Finn Balor Explains Why He Returned To NXT; Credits Brock Lesnar With Rejuvenating His Career

Fin Balor recently returned to NXT to the delight of many fans, but he was not the same man we'd been watching on Raw these past three years. Gone was the perma-smile and plucky underdog attitude - this was a far more aggressive and driven wrestler, more akin to "Prince Devitt" from New Japan.

Last night on NXT during a lengthy interview segment, Balor explained why he chose to return, revealing that he wanted to wrestle at the highest level after becoming complacent on WWE's "main roster." He also credited Brock Lesnar for bringing that drive out in him during their singles match at last year's Royal Rumble.

Balor will face NXT UK Champion WALTER at some point in the future. The match was likely set for either TakeOver: Tampa or UK TakeOver: Dublin, but nothing is certain during the current climate.
