We've been seeing cute doggo Franky Monet teasers for a few weeks now, and former IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie finally made her black and gold brand debut during NXT's first Tuesday night show.

Monet interrupted new NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez as she was cutting a promo in the ring, making it clear that NXT was "her show," and hinting that she'd soon be challenging her for the title. Gonzalez responded by telling Monet that if she interrupted er again, she'd stick her little dog up her "culo."

So, Taya's new gimmick is basically Carmella with a dog instead of a sommelie. Remember when NXT used to be creative? Valkyrie is a heck of a talent so we're willing to see where this goes, but it's hard to be optimistic given the current state of the black and gold brand.

At any rate, Monet wasn't the only surprise, as new Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley and new SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair showed up to congratulate Gonzalez on her win and show some NXT solidarity in a nice moment.
