Former IMPACT WRESTLING Star DJZ Made His NXT Debut At A Live Event As Joaquin Wilde

Another name change for a former Impact Wrestling star here, as the one-time DJZ made his NXT live event debut for the black and gold brand as Joaquin Wilde, and picked up a victory over Kona Reeves....

Former Impact Wrestling star DJZ made his NXT debut at a live event on Thursday night as Joaquin Wilde.

The talented wrestler was also sporting a new look, although there are still definitely a few nods to his flamboyant Impact persona. Wilde picked up a victory over Kona Reeves in a competitive match.

Several former Impact and independent stars have been re-branded for their imminent debuts on the black and gold brand, but some of the new names sound a lot better than others. Joaquin Wilde (presumably pronounced, "Whackin' Wild") is... well it's awful, to be frank.

Anyway, expect to see Mr. Wilde make his TV debut fairly soon now that he's being used for the live show.
