It was noted back in early September that former Impact Wrestling star, Scarlett Bordeaux, was seen at the WWE Performance Center for a tryout with the company.

Last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that the 28-year-old had cancelled several independent dates, which was usually a sign that talents were WWE bound. Now, Squared Circle Sirens has written that Bordeaux has indeed signed with WWE and will be making her way to NXT.

According to the report, Bordeaux will be a valet; however, the plan for her down in the developmental brand is for her to wrestle as well. At the moment, there’s no word on who the former Impact star could be paired with. Since leaving Impact in the summer, Bordeaux has been working independent dates including AAA Lucha Libre.

Brandi Rhodes briefly discussed the possibility of signing Bordeaux; The Chief Brand Officer stated during the media scrum for Fight for the Fallen that she likes the former Impact star and thinks she’s a great competitor; however, Rhodes never gave a direct answer on whether we would see her in the promotion in the future. Based off the speculation here, it doesn't seem like Bordeaux will be showing up to AEW anytime soon.
