Tonight’s episode of NXT will feature two tournament matches and the in-ring return of Rhea Ripley.

Drake Maverick is making it clear that he’s not just fighting to win the NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship, but he’s fighting for his job as well. The former 24/7 Champion’s goals may come crashing down tonight when he faces Kushida, who’s currently undefeated in Block A.

If Maverick fails to beat the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion then the 37-year-old’s journey in the NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament is over.

For Group B, former Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa will take on newcomer El Hijo Del Fantasma. Both men are top notch talents inside of the ring; however, only one cruiserweight can walk out victorious.

In her first match since WrestleMania 36, former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley will take on Io Shirai in a highly anticipated encounter. Will Ripley suffer another setback at the hands of Io Shirai?

All this and more is set for tonight’s episode of NXT at the Performance Center in Florida. Check out the advertised line-up below:

Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley.

Kushida vs. Drake Maverick in an Interim NXT Cruiserweight Title tournament match.

El Hijo Del Fantasma vs. Akira Tozawa in an Interim NXT Cruiserweight Title tournament match.

Roderick Strong vs. Dexter Lumis
