It’s official: former X-Division champion DJZ has signed with the WWE.

After working for TNA/Impact Wrestling for nearly six years, DJZ confirmed that he left the company in December last year. Towards the tale end of his Impact run, he was sparringly used in the promotion. He did win the Impact World Tag Team titles earlier that year; however, he quickly dropped the belts less than a month later.

It was reported back in early March that the former Impact talent had signed with the company, and was then confirmed by Squared Circle Siren’s Casey Michael that DJZ had debuted at the Performance Center over the weekend.

WWE has made the news official by releasing their statement on the newest recruit to the Performance Center.

Last month, WWE confirmed the acquisition of three top independent talents, Kushida, Shane Strickland and Humberto Garza. Kushida – who’s a former multi-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion – is already appearing on NXT television weekly.
