In an interesting turn of events, former TNA/IMPACT Wrestling X-Division champion Robert Strauss (Robbie E in IMPACT) made his official debut in NXT, but as a manager! Strauss was apart of the February class of new recruits down in the performance center, which also had ACH (who goes by Albert Hardie) and Trevor Lee apart of the new string of talent.

Strauss debuted as a manager of Saurav Gurjar & Rinku Singh and cut a promo. Gurjar would go on to defeat Jonah Rock in singles competition. On social media, Strauss posted that he was planning to "build a brand" in NXT.

At the moment, it seems that the former X-Division champion will be used as a manager in the company; however, WWE could still be testing the waters on how to use the former IMPACT star and he may end up wrestling in the future.
