The NXT Tag Team Championship will be officially on the line at WWE Stand & Deliver 2025 now that we have a new set of challengers determined in tonight's tag team gauntlet No. 1 contenders' match.
Despite being underdogs for the division that couldn't seem to get a win for months no matter what they tried, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger were victorious tonight in a means where they actually went the entire distance of the match, starting off and beating every team that came their way.
In order of their appearance, the match went down as Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beating Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. Next to lose to Hank and Tank were The Culling, followed by No Quarter Catch Crew. Last up were Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, who also couldn't get the job done.
A little backstory on the tag team champions, they've been constantly having issues getting along, making snide comments to each other, and not being on the same page, but Axiom and Nathan Frazer have had these tag team titles under lock and key for the past 227 days in their second run with the titles. Outside of just a little over two weeks when they had dropped the titles temporarily to Chase U (Andre Chase and Ridge Holland) before winning them back, they've basically been champions for the entire year at this point after originally winning them from The Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker) on the February 13, 2024 episode of NXT.
With no signs of them stopping, but with the potential for a title change at any moment, will this Saturday be the start of a new reign, or will it be business as usual for The Super Sonic Duo to come out on top?
WWE Stand & Deliver will go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on this Saturday, April 19, 2025. The Countdown to WWE Stand & Deliver pre-show will begin at 12pm ET, followed by the main card starting at 1 pm ET, all on Peacock in the United States and Netflix everywhere else.
