As is usually the case, NXT delivered a superb TakeOver PPV event which the main roster Superstars will find very difficult to top with Money in the Bank later on tonight.

Although 3 championships were on the line, none of them ended up changing hands - but that doesn't mean there wasn't a surprise or two.

Arguably the biggest shocker was Tomasso Ciampa defeating Johnny Gargano despite taking a hellacious beating and tapping out twice to the Gargano Escape (there was no ref present). These guys pulled out all the stops in what must be considered one of the most brutal matches we've seen in WWE in quite some time.

In addition, Aleister Black managed to withstand the mighty Lars Sullivan and retained his NXT Championship with 2 Black Mass kicks. As expected, Shanya Bazler also kept hold of her Women's Title by putting Nikki Cross to sleep.

Check out the full list of results below, and be sure to let us know what you thought of NXT TakeOver: Chicago II in the comments.

- War Raiders defeated The Mighty (TV)

- Bianca Belair defeated Dakota Kai (TV)

- Undisputed Era (c) defeated Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch

- Ricochet defeated Velveteen Dream

- Shanya Bazler (c) defeated Nikki Cross

- Aleister Black (c) defeated Lars Sullivan

- Tomasso Ciampa defeated Johnny Gargano
