Yesterday, it was revealed that NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler suffered an ankle injury at the Evolution PPV during her memorable title match with Kairi Saine. While it's said that she wasn't selling backstage, she was seen on crutches both after the show and at the airport on Monday.

Luckily, it's now been confirmed that the injury isn't too serious and Baszler won't end up missing NXT TakeOver: War Games in Los Angeles during Survivor Series weekend. According to Dave Meltzer, she's perfectly fine, probably doesn't need to be on crutches (they were just a precaution) and isn't expected to miss any time from the ring so she'll be back in action for the next set of NXT tapings.

As of right now, we don't know who will be Baszler's next challenger but a rematch with Saine is a strong possibility and the signs are pointing to Bianca Belair being next in line for a championship shot.
