Jazmyn Nyx is done with WWE.

Did you wonder why WWE did a strange attack angle on Tuesday where her Fatal Influence members Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne completely dismissed their fellow group member?

Reportedly, that angle was done to write Nyx out of the faction since her contract hasn’t been renewed. However, this isn’t a case where WWE opted to not re-sign the NXT star. Apparently, Nyx just didn’t have interest in signing a new deal. PWInsider confirmed with multiple sources that the 27-year-old rejected a new deal from the promotion.

Jazmyn Nyx was signed by WWE in 2022. She didn’t have much wrestling experience prior to her signing. In fact, Nyx has never competed on the indie circuit. She quickly rose through the ranks following her training thanks to Fatal Influence. She became a permanent fixture of the act and mainly competed in tag team matches.

WWE has been teasing dissension between Fatal Influence for quite a while now. It seemed that Jacy Jayne would be on the outside looking in as the NXT Women’s Champion was having issues with both Henley and Nyx, but that clearly not the case. It’s unknown if the company will continue to tease dissension between Fallon and Jacy, though they certainly looked unified when they walked away from Nyx on Tuesday.

There’s no word on what the future lies for Jazmyn. Though she did respond to the reports on TikTok confirming that she turned down an NXT deal because financially it wasn’t cutting it for her.

“As you know, there have been things circulating and I want to just set the record straight. I’m not re-signing with WWE. This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and my future. Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years wasn’t going to cut it for me financially, and that’s okay.”

This is a blow to the Fatal Influence, though the trio was standing on its last legs recently. Jacy Jayne is focused on her upcoming match against Lola Vice at No Mercy. It’s unknown if a new member would be added to the NXT faction or if the tension between Jacy and Fallon would continue. We’ll keep you updated should more news come to light about the former NXT star.
