Johnny Gargano And Tommaso Ciampa Reunite To Take Out Ricochet And Aleister Black On NXT

Best of friends to bitter enemies... to best friends again? Well, that might be jumping the gun a bit, but DIY did reform tonight on NXT - if only briefly - to take out their respective TakeOver opponents.

Tonight's episode of NXT saw Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano on the same page yet again.

Both men previously worked together to take down Aleister Black at the last TakeOver event, which resulted in Gargano picking up the win in their steel cage match, and tonight the former tag-team partners combined their efforts to beat-down North American Champion Ricochet and the Dutch Destroyer.

After their respective TakeOver: Phoenix opponents were taken care of, the one-time best friends made their way back up the ramp, but before either Superstar could say anything to acknowledge what just happened, Candice LeRae interrupted and told her husband that he was "not doing this again." Johnny Wrestling appeared to agree, and left.

As cool as a DIY reunion could be, it does seem a little too soon. Granted, continuity is not really a thing in WWE anymore, but there has to be some believably for a storyline to work.

At any rate, we'll see if there's any more collusion thisi Saturday at TakeOver.
