Well, it's fair to say we didn't see this coming! During last night's episode of NXT, Mandy Rose made her unexpected return to the brand by coming out to the stage during Sarray's match with Gigi Dolin. An impressed Rose left after seeing the former pick up the win and later appeared in a segment with members of The Robert Stone Brand.
It appears she will be their new manager because, earlier in the night, Aliyah and Jessi Kamea loss to Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro saw the former attack Stone, blaming him for their troubles.
Kamea was left shocked, but left alongside Franky Monet. Later, Monet, Kamea and Stone indicated that they were done with Aliyah, and it seems Rose has now usurped Stone's place in the group.
Making her a manager in NXT is certainly an interesting decision, and it appears WWE has moved on from her being a tag team alongside Dana Brooke on RAW. This could be a good fit for Rose given her in-ring abilities, and the @WrestleVotes Twitter account is reporting, "While I’m not sure why, source says it seems like a trade went down between rosters: RAW trades Mandy Rose to NXT for Aliyah."
