Tonight, a new challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship will be decided as a 20-woman Battle Royal has been confirmed. NXT released the full list of women that are a mix of NXT, TNA, and Evolve.
Lei Ying Lee, Mara Sadé, Xia Brookside, Heather by Elegance, Jordynne Grace, Victoria Crawford, Kelani Jordan, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Lash Legend, Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Kendal Grey, Lola Vice, Karmen Petrovic, Sol Ruca, Thea Hail, and Arianna Grace are full list of competitors in this match.
There’s several former world champions and a couple of current title holders in the mix of this battle royal. Who will cement their spot as the number contender for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s title? We’ll find out tonight!
Matt Cardona competes in a WWE ring for the first time in five years. However, he may end up regretting his decision costing Josh Briggs his match against Myles Borne a couple of weeks ago. The former WWE Intercontinental and United States Champion was so desperate to compete in WWE that he was willing to do anything and now he has a chance to show audiences how much he’s changed since his first stint with the company. Will Matt Cardona pull out a victory over the big man? Or will Briggs tear the former WWE star apart?
Also, AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. will make his NXT debut tonight. Wagner Jr. has been targeting the North American Champion Ethan Page over the last several weeks; however, he had to prove himself in the NXT landscape first before earning an opportunity against Page.
El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. is a notable veteran who’s competed across the globe. Despite only being 33, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. has been fighting for 15 years and he’s considered to be one of the best luchadors to step between those ropes in the modern generation. Will the AAA Latin American Champion prove why he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world? Or will Lexis King stop any momentum he had coming into NXT?
