Mauro Ranallo Taking It "Day By Day" After Corey Graves' Tweets And He May Not Return To NXT For A While

We may have some disappointing news for those of you hoping to see Maura Ranallo back in NXT sooner rather than later because it sounds like he's in rough shape after the Tweets sent out by Corey Graves.

According to Dave Meltzer, NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo is said to be in "rough shape" following the Tweets sent out by SmackDown's Corey Graves over the weekend criticising his work during NXT TakeOver: WarGames

While it's since been reported that Graves' comments were meant to set up an angle between the two men at Survivor Series, Meltzer says Ranallo's condition (he suffers from depression and bipolar disorder) has been pretty bad in recent days and it's now a "day by day thing." According to his manager, Frank Shamrock, he will only return when he's able.

Interestingly, it's noted that Graves is being viewed as "the good guy" internally in WWE. so they were clearly happy with his apology and appreciate that he probably couldn't have expected Ranallo to react to those Tweets the way he did.

Still, it definitely feels like there's a lesson to be learned here!
