New Matches Added To NXT TAKEOVER: STAND & DELIVER Night 1 And Night 2 Events

Two new matches have been announced for NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, while the Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal determined who will compete in that match on night 1. Find out updates to the card!

On tonight's edition of WWE NXT on USA Network, further developments fleshed out the cards for both the first and second nights of the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver specials set for April 7th (on USA) and April 8th (on Peacock).

After Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell of The Way defeated Gigi Dolin and Zayda Ramier by pinfall, they challenged Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart to a match for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship titles. Moon and Blackheart accepted, so that match will take place on Night 2.

Roderick Strong decided to leave the arena and not compete in the battle royal to determine the six participants in the Gauntlet Eliminator match. Eventually, based on the order of eliminations, it was determined the entry order will be Leon Ruff, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Dexter Lumis and then LA Knight, who won the battle royal.

During that match, Kushida and Pete Dunne were eliminated and continued to brawl. Soon after they were taken out, it was announced that those two will face each other in a singles match on the first night.

That brings the full card of both nights to the following lineup:

NIGHT 1 - APRIL 7:

  • Kushida vs. Pete Dunne
  • Triple Threat Match for the Vacated NXT Tag Team Championship: Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) vs. Legado Del Fantasmas (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) vs. MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee)
  • No. 1 Contender's Gauntlet Eliminator Match for a shot at the NXT North American Championship: Bronson Reed vs. Cameron Grimes vs. Dexter Lumis vs. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs. LA Knight vs. Leon Ruff
  • NXT UK Championship Match: WALTER (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa
  • NXT Women's Championship Match: Io Shirai (c) vs. Raquel Gonzalez
