Next Week's NXT Features #1 Contenders Matches For WWE Stand & Deliver (Tag Team Gauntlet, Fatal 4-Way & More)

Several matches were announced for next week's episode of NXT, with most of them determining who will get title shots at WWE Stand and Deliver!

Next week's episode of WWE NXT will be the go-home edition prior to the next premium live event, WWE Stand & Deliver, which takes place April 19, 2025 as part of WrestleMania Weekend.

With that in mind, there will be several matches taking place on next Tuesday's NXT that will have major implications for title bouts that are set to go down on that pay-per-view.

As previously announced, two more women qualified for the ladder match for the vacated NXT Women's North American Championship tonight when Sol Ruca defeated Jazmyn Nyx of Fatal Influence and The Culling's Izzi Dame defeated No Quarter Catch Crew's Wren Sinclair. As ZARIA had already defeated Lash Legend and Kelani Jordan beat Roxanne Perez, four of the six spots have been settled. But the remaining two slots are still up for grabs in a way that we aren't even sure yet.

Why's that? Well, NXT General Manager Ava had a segment on tonight's episode where several women (Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, and all three members of Fatal Influence) were talking about how there should be a last chance qualifier, as there typically is. Ava then said that that wasn't going to happen, but now that she's looking around, she has an idea for Stand & Deliver, yet didn't reveal what that meant. Perez was upset that it could mean a tag team match, as she doesn't have a partner. All that was then announced later on was that those two spots will be determined, which could mean almost anything.

The Street Profits appeared in a backstage segment to give some advice to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, as their continued losses have them distraught. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford told Hank and Tank to just be themselves and lean on each other, before revealing that there will be a tag team gauntlet match next week to determine who faces Fraxiom at Stand & Deliver for the NXT Tag Team Championship. It appears this gauntlet will feature Hank and Tank, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe, No Quarter Catch Crew's Myles Borne & Tavion Heights, The Culling's Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance, and Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura, but WWE could always add more.

There will also be a Fatal 4-Way match to determine the No. 1 contender to Ricky Saints and the NXT North American Championship, featuring the four people who were out in the ring with Saints on tonight's episode: Lexis King, Eddy Thorpe, Wes Lee, and Ethan Page, who had attacked Saints before the four potential challengers got into a brawl.

Lastly, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo appeared on the TitanTron at the end of tonight's episode to challenge DarkState to what appears to be a street fight in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center against The Family, but since that was the very end of the show, nothing has been confirmed about that.
