Austin Theory will make his in-ring return this Tuesday.

The returning NXT star is set to battle Bronson Reed on the special edition episode of the black-and-gold brand. Theory made his presence known following TakeOver: XXX by interrupting an interview with Reed, and the cocky WWE superstar disrespected the fellow NXT superstar. Reed immediately put him in his place with a hard slap.

The following week, Reed faced off against Timothy Thatcher with future NXT North American title implications on the line. Theory attacked Reed during the bout, which helped Thatcher get the submission win.

Now, Theory will fight for the first time in nearly three months on the upcoming episode of NXT. The same show will feature a huge NXT Championship bout between Adam Cole and Finn Balor. That super show also has a steel cage match between former NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and Mercedes Martinez.
