According to Showbuzz Daily, NXT prevails in the final head-to-head confrontation against AEW Dynamite, as the black and yellow brand averaged 795,000 viewers, up from 778,000 viewers from last week. AEW saw a major decrease, as the new promotion did 683,000 viewers, which was down from the 778,000 viewers the week prior.

In terms of the 18-49 demographic, NXT drew a 0.27 rating, good for 27th on cable for the day while AEW drew a 0.25 rating, good for 30th on cable.

NXT had a strong TakeOver like card on Wednesday, as Adam Cole defended the NXT Championship against Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley defeated Shayna Baszler to capture the NXT Women’s Championship. Dynamite advertised Adam Page & Kenny Omega vs. The Lucha Brothers, Jungle Boy vs. Chris Jericho, and a AEW World Tag Team title match between SCU and The Young Bucks.

Next week, NXT will air a taped show that will feature Roderick Strong putting the North American Championship on the line. The episode will also feature Keith Lee and Lio Rush vs. Damian Priest and Tony Nese. Dynamite will not air again until January 1st.
