Here is a breakdown of the results from tonight's episode of NXT for January 23, 2019:

— Velveteen Dream starts to talk about how he has the North American title in his sights, but he's interrupted by Adam Cole and Bobby Fish, who say they plan on winning gold for themselves. They go on the attack and Dream escapes.

— The Brit-Am Bruisers (Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch) defeated European Union (Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner) by pinfall

— Io Shirai defeated Amber Nova and Tanea Brooks by pinfall. After the match, they share some words backstage with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

— Velveteen Dream defeated Bobby Fish by pinfall

— Ricochet cuts a promo about Johnny Gargano, who comes out and quickly picks a fight. Tommaso Ciampa then comes out, followed by Aleister Black. #DIY seems to be reforming, as Gargano and Ciampa seem on the same page, until Candice LeRae comes out to try to talk some sense into Gargano, telling him not to even consider it.
