Here is a breakdown of the results from tonight's episode of NXT for September 12, 2018:
— Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defeated Adrian Jaoude and Cezar Bononi by pinfall.
— Tommaso Ciampa cut a promo on how TakeOver: Brooklyn would have gone down the same way (him retaining the title) even if Aleister Black had been in the match, and if anyone wants to be a champion, they should follow the lead of Ciampa.
— Shayna Baszler defeated Violet Payne by submission. After the match, she continued to beat down Payne to make a statement.
— Heavy Machinery are trying to solve the case of who attacked Aleister Black. Otis Dozovic suspects "Tomato Champs" (aka Tommaso Ciampa), who comes over to them to threaten them. Dozovic suggests having a match, but William Regal interrupts to tell Black he needs to see him.
— The Undisputed ERA talk some trash about War Raiders, Pete Dunne and Ricochet.
— Lars Sullivan defeated Raul Mendoza by pinfall.
— Pete Dunne and Ricochet talked about their plans to win the other one's title in the champion vs. champion match next week.
— Dakota Kai and Deonna Purrazzo are set for a match against Lacey Evans and Aliyah next week after an argument behind the scenes earlier.
— Kairi Sane and Kassius Ohno are ruled out by William Regal regarding the investigation. Ohno vents his frustrations about how everyone keeps leapfrogging over him.
— Bianca Belair and Nikki Cross fight to a double count-out. The two continued to fight after the match, with the episode ending with Cross getting the last shot in.
