Here is a breakdown of the results from tonight's episode of NXT for October 18, 2017:
- Ember Moon defeated Ruby Riot and Sonya Deville in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Fatal 4-Way at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. She is now the third participant of that match to be determined alongside Kairi Sane, who earned her spot by winning the Mae Young Classic tournament, and Peyton Royce, who defeated Nikki Cross and Liv Morgan on October 11th.
- Footage from the WWE Performance Center showed The Undisputed Era approaching Roderick Strong with a t-shirt, causing speculation that he may join the stable.
- William Regal announced that a battle royal will take place next week to determine who earns the final spot in the Fatal 4-Way for the vacated women's title. It will include Billie Kaye and virtually every other woman at NXT's disposal, including many from the Mae Young Classic like Mercedes Martinez and Candice LeRae.
- Aleister Black defeated Raul Mendoza by pinfall. The Velveteen Dream continued to seek Black's attention and seems to have gotten his wish.
