Here is a breakdown of the results from tonight's episode of NXT for November 15, 2017:
- The Street Profits defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss by pinfall.
- A video package airs to recap the feud between The Velveteen Dream and Aleister Black.
- Lars Sullivan defeated Raul Mendoza by pinfall. After the match, Kassius Ohno comes out to save Mendoza from a continued beatdown.
- Johnny Gargano talks to William Regal in his office about getting back on track. Pete Dunne has issued an open challenge for the United Kingdom Championship and Regal offers Gargano the title shot next week. He accepts, because, well, why wouldn't he? (Note: This match will be taped before TakeOver this Saturday.)
- A video package hypes up the WarGames match for TakeOver.
- Ember Moon defeated Mercedes Martinez by pinfall. Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce and Kairi Sane all come out for a staredown with each other.
- Drew McIntyre cuts a promo, explaining that it's one thing to ask for a title shot, but it's another thing to pull it off. Andrade "Cien" Almas is in trouble at TakeOver, because McIntyre is the mountain he has to climb. He invites Almas to come out to the ring to face him like a man. Almas and Zelina Vega come out and immediately, Almas and McIntyre come to blows. Vega tries to jump on McIntyre, causing a distraction, which allows Almas to get the upper hand. He leaves McIntyre on the mat to end the show.
This means the card has been finalized for NXT TakeOver: WarGames, which will feature the following matches:
- NXT Championship Match: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas
- NXT Women's Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: Kairi Sane vs. Ember Moon vs. Peyton Royce vs. Nikki Cross
- WarGames Match: SAnitY vs. The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong vs. The Undisputed Era
- The Velveteen Dream vs. Aleister Black
