A WWE talent has decided to leave.
It was confirmed by NXT’s own Edris Enofe that he opted to leave the promotion. The 31-year-old confirmed on his social media that his time has come to an end with WWE.
“As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision that I thought about for a very long time, and I’m gonna trust my gut on this.
“With that being said, for the past four years, I had the chance and the opportunity to meet and work with incredible people, from the wrestlers to the referees, to the creative team, to the medical staff, and of course to all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better, and for that, I will always, always appreciate y’all.
“And of course to all the fans who have supported me and stuck by my side through all these years, thank you.”
Now Edris Enofe was mainly known for his tag team with Malik Blade and the duo had several tag team title opportunities. Their first one was against then NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly. The last one was a four way match involving Axiom & Nathan Frazer (The then NXT Tag Team Champions), No Quarter Catch Crew (Damon Kemp & Myles Borne, and The D'Angelo Family (Channing Lorenzo & Tony D'Angelo).
Unfortunately for Enofe, his partner was sidelined with a knee injury last October and WWE rarely does anything with a tag team wrestler once their partner is hurt. Enofe was kept busy in 2025 as he competed in Evolve, but his last match was in July.
Believe or not, Enofe is a home grown NXT talent as his career started the moment he put pen to paper for WWE in 2021. Enofe is a talented performer who could do well on the indies, but it’s not clear if his plan is to continue moving forward in professional wrestling.
WWE has yet to comment on the NXT star’s exit. Enofe is the second NXT talent to leave the promotion as Jazmyn Nyx shocked the WWE masses by opting to not renew her contract with WWE. In Nyx’s case, it was a financial reason as she was unsatisfied with the offer she received, and she’s stated on multiple occasions that’s she willing to return if WWE is open to renegotiating her contract.
