As previously reported, NXT's Oney Lorcan suffered an injury at the recent NXT TakeOver: Chicago event during his fantastic tag-team match against The Undisputed Era, and now WWE has given us an update on his status.

Unfortunately, Lorcan sustained a broken orbital bone, which will put him on the shelf for at least three months.

Though that's not a huge amount of time - especially compared to some recent stints on the shelf - it is a shame because Lorcan and his partner Danny Burch were really building some momentum as a tandem.

Hopefully, Oney returns sooner than expected and gets back to uppercutting his opponents into oblivion.
