NXT Superstar The Velveteen Dream Sets Tongues Wagging With A Tweet That Seemingly Calls Out WWE

The Velveteen Dream has never exactly been a shy and retiring presence on social media, but the popular NXT Superstar's latest Tweet is by far his most blatant call-out of WWE yet. More past the jump...

The Velveteen Dream has sent out a Tweet that's gained a lot of attention.

Seemingly calling out WWE for either not paying or utilizing him enough, The NXT Superstar basically says he won't be performing for the company again until both parties can "come 2 an agreement as 2 what MY WORTH actually is."

Of course, there's every chance that this is a work as it would be very unusual for a Superstar - no matter how confident in his own abilities he may be - to publicly drag WWE in this manner and, for all intents and purposes, slap them with an ultimatum.

Not that Dream doesn't have a right to be frustrated - after all, he doesn't even have a match on the NXT TakeOver: Phoenix card despite being arguably the most popular wrestler on the roster right now.
