NXT Superstars Reportedly Upset After Karrion Kross' Shocking Loss To Jeff Hardy On RAW This Monday

As you might expect, there's reportedly a lot of "shock and frustration" in NXT right now after NXT Champion Karrion Kross lost his first match on the main roster this past Monday night on RAW. In a brief bout with Jeff Hardy, the usually dominant Kross was pinned after the Charismatic Enigma used the ropes to gain the advantage during a rollup victory.

While Kross issued a warning to Hardy in a post-match promo (hinting at a feud between the two), many fans have wondered why he's being booked into a mid-card rivalry - minus Scarlett - after such an impressive run in NXT.

Well, Fightful Select explains that this hasn't gone unnoticed by talent on the Tuesday night show, especially after the likes of Finn Balor, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Santos Escobar, and Oney Lorcan went to great lengths to put Kross over as being as dominant as possible during his NXT run.

The general mood is said to be a "not mad, disappointed" one, with many feeling that this just goes to show how NXT is viewed by many WWE officials. After all, Kross is being pushed as a top contender on Tuesdays, and if RAW was any indication, a glorified rookie on Mondays. Some even feel like a message is being sent, though for what it's worth, Kross is said to have been in good spirits after.

WWE does like to toy with fans and make them mad sometimes, and there could very well be a plan in place here. For now, though, it looks like we'll have to wait and see on this one.

Kross is just the latest in a loooooooooong line of great NXT wrestlers getting the shaft after "graduating" to the main roster. At this point they probably pray together that their moment doesn't come.
