NXT Tag-Team Champion Bobby Fish May Be Out Of Action For Quite Some Time After Injuring His Knee

One half of the NXT tag-team champions, Bobby Fish, recently tweaked his knee at a live show, and we have an update on his progress. It looks like there's going to have to be some big changes made at Takeover.

A couple of days ago, we got word that Undisputed Era member and one half of the NXT tag-team champions, Bobby Fish, had injured his knee during a house show match, and we're now hearing that he might be out for a significant amount of time.

At any rate, he'll almost certainly miss the Takeover: New Orleans show next month, which obviously means the tag-team title match would need to be rejigged.

Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio outlines some of the company's options:

"I mean your choices are have the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic be your champions or have the winners of that tournament face Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole to determine the new champions. Those seem to be obvious options there could be something else as well. So that will probably be addressed on the first show they tape on Wednesday.”

Hopefully Fish's injury is not as serious as it seems, but we won't know for certain one way or the other until we get an official diagnisis.

Tell us, how would you book the Takeover tag-match in Bobby's absence? Drop us a comment below.
