NXT: Velveteen Dream Sacrifices A Victory Over Roderick Strong To Get His Hands On Adam Cole

It looks like Velveteen Dream is being positioned as the next challenger for Adam Cole's NXT Championship.

The Dream took on Roderick Strong in a steel cage to close out this week's show, and though both men traded several near falls, The Sartorial One wound up gaining the upper hand - even after the rest of the Undisputed ERA got involved.

In the end, Cole entered the cage in an attempt to help Strong, but it turned out to be a huge mistake. Dream actually allowed Roddy to escape the cage so he could turn his attention to the leader of the UE, and took him out with several steel chair shots and rolling Death Valley Drivers. Velveteen then grabbed the title and climbed over the cage.

We don't know when this match will happen, but TakeOver: Tamnpa seems like a safe bet!
