This past Wednesday on NXT, Candice LeRae successfully defeated Kayden Carter to advance to the No. 1 Contender’s Ladder match that’s set to take place in two weeks. It was definitely an exciting moment for the young star as LeRae is finally being able to focus on herself once again.
However, the black cloud hanging over LeRae is her husband, Johnny Gargano. For nearly two years, the intense feud between former NXT Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa dominated the black and gold brand, with the 34-year-old caught in the middle.
