NXT's Nikkita Lyons Bounces Back By Heading To The Beach After Missing Women's Tag Team Title Tournament

Nikkita Lyons is receiving a lot of attention from fans as one of NXT 2.0's biggest talents, and after missing out on the Women's Tag Team Title Tournament, she's bounced back with some must-see videos.

After previously competing on 205 Live, Nikkita Lyons made her NXT 2.0 debut in a match against Kayla Inlay earlier this year. She's since received rave reviews from fans, and there was a lot of excitement when WWE announced that she and Zoey Stark were set to partner up to compete in the Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament.

However, they were replaced by Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. We're not 100% sure what happened, though it's been reported that Stark was injured and Lyons was unable to enter Canada due to her COVID vaccination status.

It appears the NXT slot in the tournament may be cursed, though, as Dolin is said to have been injured in that match against Natalya and Sonya Deville. Now, a Fatal 4-Way match will take place in order to decide on a new team who will go on to face Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah in the semifinals.

Lyons isn't letting this setback get her down, though, as she recently took to the beach and shared some jaw-dropping videos with fans. Along with that, the NXT 2.0 Superstar also showed off her twerking and singing skills, reminding us why she's someone who has no trouble turning heads.

In NXT, Triple H oversaw a women's division that produced Superstars like Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch, so we're sure The Game has big plans for Lyons moving forward. Hopefully, her vaccination status won't cause too much of an issue because being a WWE Superstar does mean you have to be able to travel the globe.
