Oba Femi is trying to get in on the John Cena retirement world tour.

Everybody wants a piece of John Cena. The former WWE Undisputed Champion is currently in the midst of his final year as a professional wrestler; thus far, guys like Randy Orton, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Logan Paul have gotten the chance to scrap with Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect during his final run in WWE, but there’s another guy who wants to be added to that list - Oba Femi.

The current NXT Champion talked about several dream matches during his interview on Going Ringside, and he first picked a modern, but not too surprising name that's won the World title on mutliple occassions (Transcript courtesy of Fightful).

“I am, it has to be for the right reasons. Not just because the fans said so. I have to want to fight Gunther.

He has to want to fight me. There has to be a good reason. There has to be a good cause. It can’t just happen because they… Because fans say it’s a dream match.”

He was then questioned about John Cena and Oba didn’t hesitate to say that he would love to be the man that retires the former WWE Undisputed Champion.

“If I could catch John Cena… I’ll put him out, I’ll show him the door, he’s on the way out, so watch your step, you know?"

But Cena isn’t the only man he wants to retire. Randy Orton is another name that the NXT Champion would like to show the door. The young NXT star feels that enough is enough when it comes to him being on top.

“I would definitely fight Randy. Just feel sorry for Randy, his back. I’ll show him the door too. It’s about time. I grew up watching those guys. I think they’ve been on top for a very long time and I think enough is enough. I think it’s time for the new crop of superstars to rise up to the top.”

Will Oba Femi be the man to put an end to Randy Orton’s career? For John Cena, it would be shocking if he got a chance to wrestle the future Hall of Famer, but Orton isn’t retiring anytime soon. If WWE does seriously give Oba a push on the main roster then it will surely be a manner of time before these two meet inside the squared circle.
