Rhea Ripley will get her shot at the NXT Women's Championship on the December 18th episode of NXT.

Tonight, The Nightmare was supposed to go one-on-one with Dakota Kai, but she allowed Mia Yim the chance to gain a measure of revenge for what happened at WarGames instead. However, that left Rhea open to attack.

Shayna Baszler and the Horsewomen seized the opportunity to take Ripley out, and while the Aussie Superstar managed to fight off all three of 'em for a bit, they ultimately overpowered her and The Queen of Spades was able to lock on the Kirafuda Clutch and put her foe out for the count.

Will the same thing happen in two weeks? Baszler has held that title for a very long time, but Ripley has been over like rover since joining the black and gold brand, and might just emerge victorious.
