Can Ricky Saints get past his first title defense?
Mr. Saints overcame the odds last month and beat the behemoth known as Oba Femi. He did what Trick Williams couldn’t do; however, Trick Williams isn’t Oba Femi. The former NXT Champion is a sly and cunning individual who showcased throughout his TNA World title run that he was willing to do anything to win.
Trick is an accomplished wrestler in his own right and he’s managed to win the world title three times in a span of 12 months. Will the challenger prove why he’s the best by beating Saints and capturing the NXT Championship for the third time in his career?
DarkState gets the opportunity to recapture the NXT Tag Team titles. Unfortunately for them, they’ll have to do it under a Broken Rules match. Matt and Jeff Hardy are ready to “delete” the dangerous NXT faction from existence, but DarkState is coming in with a chip on their shoulder that they must overcome. The NXT faction is looking to make a statement against one of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling, can the young group beat Matt and Jeff at their own game?
For the NXT Women’s North American Championship, Blake Monroe finally gets an opportunity at a belt. Originally, the NXT newcomer was set to face Sol Ruca for the title; however, Ruca hasn’t been medically cleared to compete tonight. But Zaria will step in for the North American Champion. This is actually good news for Monroe as she beat Zaria several weeks ago to become the number contender to the prestigious belt. Has Zaria learned from her mistakes? Or will Blake Monroe prove that she’s better than her by winning the first WWE title of her career?
