Apollo Crews will return to his old NXT stomping grounds to take on the undefeated Kushida during next week's show.

So far, 205 Live's Drew Gulak and NXT UK's Kassius Ohno have tried and failed to defeated the Japanese sensation, and tonight on NXT, GM William Regal announced that a SmacklDown LIVE Superstar would get the next shot.

Crews has never been given a real shot on the main roster, so depending on how this match goes next week and what kind of reaction ge receives, there's a decent chance he could follow in Tyler Breeze's footsteps and return to the black and gold brand on a full-time basis.
