Former TNA star Alex Shelley made his NXT in-ring debut last night to re-team with his old Time Splitters partner Kushida in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic tournament, but things didn't quite go their way.

The duo were tipped as the hot favorites heading into the tournament, but NXT UK team The Grizzled Young Veterans pulled off the upset after an awesome match. Zack Gibson and James Drake will now advance to the semifinals.

They'll be joined by Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle (the Broserweights) after that hard-hitting tandem were victorious over another NXT UK team, former champions Mark Andres and Flash Morgan Webster.
