We haven't seen Former Impact Wrestling talent Dexter Lumis since competed in NXT's Breakout Tournament last year, but he re-debuted during last night's episode and picked up a victory over another new black and gold brand Superstar, Jake Atlas.
Lumis, who still has the creepy stalkerserial killer vibe going on, handily defeated his much smaller opponent, dominating most of the match and gaining the tap-out victory with a very familiar looking submission hold.
If you watched NXT Dark the other night, you'll gave seen Jake Hager apply almost the exact same side-slam/choke combo to take out Jon Moxley. Coincidence? We doubt it. This isn't the first time something from All Elite Wrestling showed up on WWE TV (more on that later), and while AEW is guilty of taking a few shots at Vince McMahon and "bad creative," they haven't gone so far as to blatantly steal a new move like this.
But hey, it's all in the name of competition, so let's see if and how AEW responds.
