Oba Femi is still the NXT Champion!
The NXT beast put Je’Von Evans through hell and though Evans gave a valiant effort, Femi was just too strong to stay down. However, Femi doesn’t have to wait long for new a challenger as former NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints came out and confronted the world champion. Saints is coming off a huge win over another giant - Jasper Troy.
Though the former AEW star lost the North American title, Saints has rebounded nicely and has made quite the impact within the developmental brand since his debut earlier this year. Oba Femi is always hungry for a new challenger; will a match between these two be made official?
Blake Monroe is coming off her biggest NXT win to date. The former AEW Women’s World Champion now has her eyes set on the NXT Women’s Championship. But so does Kelani Jordan. The last time these two met, Jordan managed to get a win via countout. Now these two have a chance to settle the score once and for all without Jordynne Grace being a distraction. Will Blake Monroe continue her hot streak?
Jacy Jayne is no longer the TNA Knockouts Champion. But there’s no rest for the former double champ. Jayne is still the NXT Women’s Champion and she has to deal with Lola Vice, who earned her title opportunity at Heatwave. A special six-woman tag team match is scheduled as the Women’s North American Champion, Zaria, and Vice will take on Fatal Influence. Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx, and Jacy have been having some communication issues lately. Will Lola's momentum continue by getting a win over the NXT Women’s Champion? Or will Jayne rebound after her devastating loss?
