The final NXT of 2024.
Tonight’s show features the in-ring return of Mr. “I lost my smile” Ethan Page. The former NXT Champion has been down on his luck since losing his title on the CW premiere. Page teased leaving the business two weeks ago, but the NXT star revealed his true colors when he viciously assaulted Je’von Evans, leaving the young NXT star lying in his own pool of blood.
Page showcased a violent and dangerous streak that he’s hoping will get him a second run with the NXT Championship. His opponent tonight is a former champion himself; Cedric Alexander knows how to get the job done when he steps into the ring, but with this new and improved Ethan Page, will he be able to match up with the former NXT Champion?
Speaking of new attitudes, former NXT North American Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan was looking for vengeance against Cora Jade last week, but Stephanie Vaquer stood in her way. In the crossfire was Lola Vice, who agreed with Stephanie holding Jordan back.
Jordan is looking to take her anger and frustration out on someone, and Lola Vice seems to be that unlucky participant. Will Jordan’s emotions guide her to victory? Or will it cloud her judgment and hand her a big loss?
Also, the final NXT of 2024 will hand out a string of awards; Male Superstar of the Year, Female Superstar of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, and Match of the Year are just some of the categories that fans voted on.
Expect the final build for the NXT Championship match between Trick Williams, Oba Femi, and Eddy Thorpe and The NXT Women’s Championship match between Roxanne Perez and Giulia as well.
