The Great American Bash is set to return next Wednesday night for the first part of a 2-day event.
The announcement was made during last night's episode of NXT, and, well, it's very clear that this is some counter-programming on WWE's part, as The Bash is set to air at the same time as All Elite Wrestling's Fyter Fest.
Some have taken issue with this, but we really don't see the problem. The black and gold brand is going to do it's best to grab the lion's share of the ratings (it's been the underdog thus far), and fans get to see two (potentially) great events over the next couple of weeks.
The only bouts to be officially announced for the first show are a Strap Match between Dexter Lumis and Roderick Strong and a Fatal 4-Way Women's Championship No. 1 Contenders match, but we already know that night 2 will see North American Champion Keith Lee face NXT Champion Adam Cole with both titles on the line in a "winner take all" encounter.
