The X-Division Championship will be defended on NXT.

For the first time in WWE history, the X-Division Championship will be defended as the reigning champion will put his title on the line against the Heritage Cup holder Lexis King. This is Moose’s eleventh title defense. The 40-year-old has successfully defended his belt for the past 121 days against top level names such as Mike Bailey, KUSHIDA, and Ace Austin; Moose hasn’t lost a singles match since December. Even then, that loss was only by disqualification.

What Lexis King lacks in experience and power, the second generation star makes up in determination and smarts. King hasn't won a title in WWE, but the rising star is quickly moving up through the ranks due to his in-ring IQ. The cocky 31-year-old has backed up skills on several occasions. Will Lexis King pull off a massive upset and become the new X-Division Champion?

In the second title defense of the evening, Stephanie Vaquer will put her Women’s North American title on the line against Karmen Petrovic. Vaquer is riding a huge wave of momentum as she’s coming off the biggest win of her career at Vengeance Day. However, Petrovic beat a former champion (Kelani Jordan) and a world title challenger; the 29-year-old seems primed for the spotlight after last week’s impressive win. Will Karmen Petrovic cut Stephanie Vaquer’s title reign short?

For the first time in four years, The Hardys return to WWE! The TNA Tag Team Champions are scheduled for a non-title match as they’ll take on NXT’s up-and-coming duo Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. Matt and Jeff Hardy are certified Hall of Famers, but the duo of Born and Heights shouldn’t be dismissed. The No Quarter Catch Crew has been one of NXT’s premiere athletes for the last several years and though they haven’t won any gold just yet, Heights and Borne pulled out key wins throughout their NXT stint. Can they pull out another one against the TNA Tag Team Champions?

All this and more is confirmed for tonight’s episode of NXT. Check out the advertised matches below:
