The Next Challenger For Bobby Roode's NXT Championship Was Revealed During Last Night's Show

During last night's episode of NXT, it was revealed that Roderick Strong will be the next yellow brand Superstar to face-off against Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship.

This isn't too surprising, as the pair engaged in a war of words (well, Roode berated Strong) on last week's show, and Roddy has already found himself on the verge of being in the title picture having faced Hideo Itami for the #1 contender spot. Then, last night, Roode insulted Strong's family as they arrived for a photoshoot (video below), and things got physical.

Though it's highly unlikely that Strong will be the one to take Roode's precious title from him (that match isn't even taking place on a Takeover show), it should still be a terrific bout, and elevate the talented Tampa native's profile.
