Can Ricky Saints win the big one?
Ricky Saints came into NXT hot in February and he managed to win the North American Title within two months of his debut. The former AEW star suffered a minor setback when he lost the belt to Ethan Page in May, but that set Saints on a course to become the next NXT Champion.
Meanwhile, Oba Femi has been dominating the developmental brand ever since he won the title at New Year’s Evil. Femi has been the NXT Champion for 263 days, successfully defending the belt nine times thus far and there doesn’t seem to be any slowing down for the NXT giant. Ricky saints comes in as an underdog, but will the 35-year-old shock the world and beat Oba Femi? Or will Oba Femi just add another body to his resume?
Jacy Jayne hasn't had the best of luck since losing the Knockouts Championship to Ash by Elegance at Heatwave. The Fatal Influence leader has been losing quite a bit and she just lost an important member of her faction. Lola Vice is coming off a huge victory over Jayne in a six woman tag team match and has ensured that the same result will happen at No Mercy. With Jacy’s world crumbling before her eyes, does No Mercy mark the final time that she walks into an arena as the NXT Women’s Champion?
Ethan Page has been extremely arrogant since winning the North American Championship. Turning the title into a Canadian belt has sparked the fire within Tavion Heights, who’s come out of his shell after he was released from the No Quarter Catch Crew. Heights pulled off the biggest victory of his career in a Flag match against Page a couple of weeks ago. Will he be able to do that again, but with the North American title on the line?
