Will we finally crown a new NXT Champion tonight?

Last week, a historic 60-minute Ironman match took place and the end result saw both Finn Balor and Adam Cole tie with two wins a piece. Tonight, a champion should finally be crowned as both men will compete in a singles match.

Coming in, the longest reigning NXT Champion actually has momentum on his side as Cole owns a victory over Balor for the prestigious belt on the December 12th episode of NXT. Will The Undisputed Era leader shut down Balor once again?

Also, Rhea Ripley and Mercedes Martinez will settle the score in a steel cage match. Martinez ruined Ripley’s chance at getting a title opportunity against Io Shirai at NXT TakeOver: XXX; however, the former NXT Women’s Champion has gotten a measure of revenge against the NXT newcomer over the past couple of weeks. Who will emerge victorious in the first singles encounter?

All this and more is set for tonight’s episode of NXT on the USA Network at 8pm Eastern Time. Check out the advertised matches below:

NXT Championship match: Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor

Steel Cage match: Rhea Ripley vs. Mercedes Martinez

Bronson Reed vs. Austin Theory

Killian Dain vs. Roderick Strong
