This Week's "Halloween Havoc" Edition Of NXT Managed To Top AEW: DYNAMITE In The Ratings

The live viewership numbers are in for this week's episodes of All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite and NXT, and they're definitely surprising. While the WWE show has managed to pick up the odd victory here and there, Dynamite usually wins with a substantial lead on a weekly basis.

That wasn't the case for this week's special "Halloween Havoc" edition of NXT, though, as it managed to beat Dynamite with a decent lead. Moving back into the top 50 shows for the night on cable, it drew 876,000 viewers compared to the TNT show's 781,000 viewers. Last Wednesday, NXT did 644,000 viewers, while Dynamite topped that with 753,000 viewers.

AEW still managed to emerge victorious in the 18 - 49 demographic, ranking #12 compared to NXT at #21. Clearly, the eight-minute overrun and "Halloween Havoc" gimmick was beneficial to the WWE show (in comparison, Dynamite was pre-taped with nothing major on the card). Both shows are expected to suffer next week due to the fallout from the Presidential Election.

Here is the demographic breakdown:

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.32 / NXT: 0.25
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.26 / NXT: 0.18
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.38 / NXT: 0.33
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.20 / NXT: 0.15
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.16 / NXT: 0.11
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.14 / NXT: 0.20
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.40 / NXT: 0.29
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.29 / NXT: 0.43
