NXT General Manager William Regal has announced that a tournament to crown an interim NXT Cruiserweight Champion will be held in the coming weeks because current titleholder Jordan Devlin is back home in Ireland and unable to defend his title due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The matches are expected to kick-off during next Wednesday's episode, and details on who will be competing in the tournament along with the full bracket will be revealed in the coming days on WWE’s Digital and Social platforms.

Needles to say, Devil is not very happy about the situation, and has taken to social media to express his displeasure with WWE and send a warning to any Superstar who might be considering entering the tournament.

This is clearly setting up a storyline to keep he Irish Ace in the picture while he's stuck at home, and we're all for it.

Who would you guys like to see hold the Cruiserweight Championship... for a very shoty while? Let us know in the comments down below.
