Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe will settle their differences.
The rivalry between the former NXT Champion and Eddy Thorpe has gone past titles. It all started when Thorpe cleverly got himself an NXT title match by faking a backstage attack. Their NXT match would end up being a draw, with Eddy feeling that he was being screwed over by the top NXT brass.
Thorpe and Williams beat the hell out of each at Vengeance Day, but Eddy got the last laugh and left Trick lying broken and defeated. But Eddy pushed it too far by trying to end Williams’ career. The former NXT Champion is on the pursuit of revenge and he’ll have his chance in an underground match tonight. How will the final chapter in this saga conclude?
A couple of weeks ago, Sol Ruca got the pin on the Women’s United States Champion. As you can imagine, Chelsea Green isn’t particularly happy about that, but she’ll has a chance to avenge her loss on tonight’s NXT as Chelsea will defend her belt against the up-and-coming star. Sol Ruca has yet to win a singles championship, but she’s been on the cusp of doing so for months now. Can she finally get that big win tonight?
Also, Ricky Saints is riding high after his successful debut, but Ridge Holland is looking to derail all of the momentum he currently has. Can Holland quickly put an end to Ricky’s winning streak?
