NXT Deadline is this Sunday.
The Iron Survivor challenge has been one of the new fun concepts that the company has introduced in the past five years. More importantly, the gimmick has spawned new stars such as the current NXT Champion, Trick Williams.
Je’Von Evan, Nathan Frazer, Ethan Page, and Wes Lee have already secured their spot in the five-way match. Who grab the final spot between Eddy Thorpe, Lexis King, Axiom, and Cedric Alexander?
Alexander is the only man in the match who’s held a singles title in WWE, so the former Cruiserweight Champion understands what he needs to do to capture championship gold.
But Lexis King and Eddy Thorpe are two young athletes who are hungry to reach the next level. Lexis King has been slowly regaining steam in the past couple of months and Thorpe has shown flashes of brilliance both in and outside of the ring. Of course, we can’t forget Axiom, who is the NXT Tag Team Champion.
Should he win, he’ll pull double duty at Deadline as he’s scheduled to defend the belts as well. Axiom also understands what it takes to become a champion, but without his tag team partner by his side, does he have the skill to move further in the ranks of NXT’s singles division?
Jaida Parker, Wren Sinclair, Cora Jade, and Kelani Jordan will get their last chance on the women’s side and each of these women have impressive wins on their resume.
Kelani Jordan was the first-ever women's NXT North American Champion so she has the experience on her side coming into this match. But Parker, Sinclair, and Jade have been making waves down in the division and they will surely put up a fight to get into the No. 1 contender’s match for this Saturday. Who will join Sol Ruca, Stephanie Vaquer, Zaria, and Giulia at Deadline?
